Hi guys,

I was just wondering when you ordered Johns book from this site, how long did it take ? I ordered mine on May 24th and it still has not arrived. Also did you get some sort of tracking number. This is all the info got in my email i received after buying the book.

Product(s) Delivered:
The Complete Guide to Torque X

Shipping Method:
Digital Objects Only - No Shipping

Subtotal: $74.00 USD
Shipping and Handling: $0.00
Tax: $0.00

The shipping and handling was not charged, but the book is $60, so i'm assuming that $74 includes S/H.

Best Regards,

Hmm, mine took about 5 days (not including the weekend). Unfortunately, I didn't get a tracking number either. I ordered mine awhile back though...

I didn't get mine from this site. I actually got it from a technical book store here in Brisbane.

I bought mine via Amazon. Weird that it says Digital objects only, no shipping, is it a download?

Mine wasn't. I have an actual book. I didn't even know there was a digital version...

Thanks for the feedback guys.

@Henry

Yeah i was a bit confused about that too, but David said that's the standard message and is looking into it for me with the publisher, but it is a hard copy, there's no digital book.

It's driving me crazy, waiting for it for so long. I might just take the loss at this point and go buy it from amazon if it does not show up soon, which is a huge disappointment losing $74 US ($86 CDN).

hey Tilan!

I've bought the book as well, thinking it was an ebook, I kinda wanted it asap. Oh well, my current project is kinda a mish mash of old XNA and components.

Hey Tilan,

It's going pretty good, got some cool stuff up and running in Torque X.

The book comes to Canada directly from their American Publisher
AK Peters, not the Canadian arm of the publisher.

You could try contacting them.
