Mouxhim
"I have done it! I have done nothing."
This is the slogan of this incredibly interactive game which we are currently designing. Mouxhim will promise to set new standards in interactive media, and as our other slogan says, "The Player will not play the Game, the Game will play the Player!"
We are currently looking for highly creative writers to help in the game's design proccess. Here is where you can go to see the actual job posting:
Writers Needed
As for the writing, we are asking for storylines in the general theme of the game without describing the actual game in order to get stories not directly based on how the game uses them.
In other words, if we told you how the game played out, you would focus on that instead of original ideas that could make the game all that more creative! So, if you can do a couple of storylines based on one or two races, we could evaluate weither they could actually be part of the game. Then we will contact you directly and disclose the actual game elements and you will understand our intentions.
As for any other talent, if you could show us some references to work you have done, we would really appreciate it! We will be looking for artists, 3D artists/modelers and programmers after we have some solid storylines, which will be the main focus of the game's finished design. Again, when you are let in on the game, you will learn why we are persuing help in this way.
After we have built a solid design, we will be releasing more detailed information here on the GG site, and may open the game as a community project.
Please feel free to post any questions concerning this game in this forum post, or send me an email and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks,
- Christopher Dapo ~ Ronixus
PS: Those who become part of the team or otherwise learn of the actual game, please do not disclose any information unless approved. This only serves as reasons I mentioned above. Thanks!

A: Wherever a character lives! They could be in the country of their nationality or treking across the world (armed services?), whatever their situation just try to remain focused on 'key events' and where they took place. You imagine their surroundings or base them on real places. Don't forget this next one to help you consider.
Q: What time period?
A: From modern day to the future (you can go sci-fi if it's actually part of their world). Just remember that you must clearly define the timeline of the events that happened (dates would be very appropriate).
Q: How sci/fi-y can they be?
A: Use your imagination but try not to focus on fancy gadgets or weapons unless it's used by the mysterious assassins. Don't forget that the character has their own form of retaliation, their powers(though it can't be used in the story, no acceptions! You will find out why after the main concept is revealed), so they don't need lazer pistols or RPGs unless it's part of the story(read first-person not FPS ;).
I hope these answer your questions, thanks for posting :)

It would take a lot of fingers to count all the games that star a character suffering from amnesia, with a mysterious past. And you want 87 characters, all suffering from amnesia? Not to be critical, but your game ideas will have to be the best in the world (which they very well might be) for people not to skoff.
Soooooooooo. My question is..........Must all characters suffer from amnesia??
If you want want them to, thats fine. Just wondering.

Chris: In your description for Mouxhim you said "...the character awakens refreshed yet in a state of amnesia."It would take a lot of fingers to count all the games that star a character suffering from amnesia, with a mysterious past. The reason for this amnesia is due to their development of their inner powers which is why all the characters experience this state once they've been awakened. In the game, the mysterious helper comes forth to abduct you from your 'home', the same place where the character lives at the end of each individual story.
You see, as the story goes, you are brought to a highly concealed area by the helper, who uses a special chamber to help bring out your powers. In every case, each character has their first 'introduction' to their inner powers, a dreamy state that glimpses at each important event of their life and the tragedy that occured. You see, this _is_ their power!
The rest will have to wait for now, but I hope this gives you a clue where the game is heading.

No, they don't all suffer from amnesia, it's just that they all end up in that state in the begining of the game. The reason for this amnesia is due to their development of their inner powers which is why all the characters experience this state once they've been awakened. other than that, good luck. and amnesia is somewhat clishe, however, it has so deep roots in literature of all sorts (and rings some "archetypical" bells), that its ok for me:)

As for the amnesiatic cliche, it will be part of the story and gameplay as well. Agin, tough to explain without letting the cat out of the bag, but the solidity is there in the design already.
It almost spooks me how mesmierising it will become. You'll just have to trust me on this one ;)

They should have a better slogan because I believe the gameplay is actually quite the opposite in B&W. Besides, my use of the term 'play' will be compared more to Eternal Darkness for the GCN, but will also take on emotional and psycological qualities as well. The game will be made to prey upon a player's feelings and directly effect the gameplay. So yes, it will play you in more ways than you could imagine ;)As for the amnesiatic cliche, it will be part of the story and gameplay as well.
