DTS Exporter for Maya 6.5 OSX

hi hi
I am currently using Maya 6.5 for OSX and I noticed that while there is a DTS exporter for Maya 6 and 7 on OSX, version 6.5 has been skipped. I am not made out of money, but I am curious just what it would take to acquire, create or kludge an exporter that will work with my version. Does anyone have suggestions? Jumping through hoops might be unavoidable, but I would like to keep the number of hoops to a minimum if possible.

The first attempt I made was with the Maya 6 version of the DTS exporter and the dtsUtility. Even when using the sample files provided in the maya2dts filepack, which I have to assume are set up correctly, the exporter simply crashes on export every time.
My second attempt was with the Maya 7 version of the DTS exporter, and every time I try to export I get a "no bounds found" error, even using the sample files which clearly have a bounding box in the correct place in the hierarchy.
Perhaps there is a setting in the options that I am overlooking?

If there is a setting, I can't help there.
I'm thinking back 3 or 4 years now and I think I just had to bite the bullet and upgrade, which sucks I know.
Sorry, I wish I could have been more help.

That sounds about right actually and unfortunately. If there is a setting, I can't help there.

Thats kind of what I expected. I suppose I will have to switch to Blender or Milkshape, no harm no foul I suppose. I already got my money's worth out of that ancient copy of Maya from a different project.
Even though it didn't pan out, thanks for helping. :)
