Empty sequence files

by Judy L Tyrer · in Artist Corner · 07/01/2009 (2:32 pm) · 3 replies

I followed the instructions for creating sequences out of my animations and created two simple sequences, root and run (with biped). When I export them, the files are virtually empty (looks like it wrote out a header and no data). They have a sequence helper object in them. I deleted the mesh per the instructions (after exporting it to the dts file). The sequences are being exported to the same directory that stores the .max file and the .dts file. They have the sequence helpers and beginning and ending keys. One is 15 seconds, the other 45 seconds.

What am I missing?

Judy

Tell us what app you're using and upload a source file of the animations plz. So someone can inspect them.

Be sure to check your node structure.

If you provide a screenshot, it will help us help you.

I'm not sure how to upload a source file or provide a screenshot (forum noob). However, I decided to just go ahead and upgrade to T3D so it may be a moot point now. Still, if you want to provide instructions for when how to do either for when I can't get Collada to work *grins*

Thanks,
Judy
