How the heck does this all work!?

I've been screwing around with the PhsyX demo for quite a bit now, thrilled with the destructible objects :D
Question: How does this all work? From what I can tell, the building is all one Collada DAE file, but how are all the joints defined? I'm confused by the whole idea...how could one go about making their own simple destructible collada?

@Robert I'm not really complaining. My expectations are to do the best I can with the capabilities I have. My Navy retirement is financing my software acquisitions, and I live on my IT professional retirement. If the free version doesn't support the plugin, then I'll just have to stretch things a bit for the full version. What the heck, it keeps me off the streets and out of bars ...

Would be great to see some Blender + physX lovin' though :D

From my research it seems that 3DS Max best supports the physX plugin. Found a few complaints about it from people using Maya, with a whole lot of bitching from XSI users in regards to it's implementation of the plugin (but using ICE particles seems to be an alternative). About Mod Tool (saw it mentioned) -- it's not an alternative for those with commercial interests in mind.Would be great to see some Blender + physX lovin' though :D

@deepscratch - They will not be up in the docs until Monday. For now, you can e-mail me and I will send you the files

Given what Michael said above, I'd suggest doing the research of whether the free version of XSI includes the plugin support, as that is supposed to be built in. There is a free version of SoftImage - XSI Mod Tool specifically for mod type devs. Maybe they were nice enough to include PhysX plugin support in that version, but you'd have to get hold of it to know for sure.
