I'm just about ready to submit my community game to Xbox.
Is there anything that I'm required to do on the Torque side of things since I used Torque X 2D to create it?
i.e. splash screen, box art logo, etc.

One more question. Are we allowed to announce the release of a TX2D game anywhere on the forums, or just as a blog, or is anywhere else designated for this type of thing?

Announce it wherever you like! The blogs will get the most eyes on it. Also, if you want to email Deborah, she's usually happy to do dev interviews and talk with you in the blog about your game. Deborahm at garagegames.
