Object Pathing

Is there any intention to add an object pathing system for the game. Tribes 1 had one for elevators and doors, and I feel like it would be useful for games that want animated areas that are particular to the level rather than the object animation. The only other engine I know of that has one for comparison is crysis, and it really add a lot to the abilities of the map editor.
The current editor is definitely a huge upgrade from TGEA and other Torque engines, but it could use more assets to help dev teams flesh out the atmosphere of levels more. They would certainly seem more dynamic.
Any interest there?
