Exporting Morph Animations from Max

I've been unable to export a morph animation of a model. I've made sure the 'Morph Animation' flag is checked in the sequence modifier window. I've tried leaving 'Transform Animation' checked and unchecked, neither seems to work.

I've tried putting the default player.cfg file in the mesh directory and deleting it.

This model has a bone structure and if I export the transform animation - it works great, except that the facial animations are missing since they are not animated with bones but with space warps.

Any suggestions or is there more info I could provide?

A side question - I've scanned the forums and there seems to be some confusion as to whether morph animations can be exported as DSQ files. Can they?
