Looking for a full-scale project to put your Torque skills to the ultimate test? Tired of seeing the same old MMORPG job postings? Looking for something different? Then look no further than Ace Corban Productions - Cloud 9 Studios. Our first project (an Action/RPG) promises an experience unlike any other with new designs and methodology behind storytelling, character development, and gameplay. The team is currently 7 strong including an artist, musician, modelers/animators, writer, and designers. All we need is someone proficient enough in TorqueScript to carry the bulk of the programming task, and lead up any programmers that will fall under him.
Required Skills:
-Proficient in Torquescript. Must be able to handle GUIs, weaponry, movement, animation and other complex game logic.
-COMMUNICATION. The ability to check one's email is surprisingly lost on many people. Must be able to promptly communicate with the team to keep the project going.
-Knowledge of the Torque architechture itself would be a plus. Might need to make small adjustments to the engine to support some of our later features.
What you can expect:
-A solid design, and professional team. The next 3 or so years of the lifecycle is planned out and detailed. The creative design is complete, and awaits technical implementation input.
-Pay. We are all working for free on this project which is good and bad. Bad for obvious reasons, but good because this can truly be a game for gamers by gamers. Percentages, however, will be guaranteed by written contract if the game sells.

I know there's more projects on this site than talented developers, and that the biggest problem when looking at job postings is seperating the serious projects from the non-serious ones. But here are a few points that make my project stand out:
-Its not an MMORPG.
-Our website isn't a geocities or tripod website, we actually have our own domain.
-I will actually get my hands on various areas of development instead of hiring a team and saying "make this game for me".
-Iterative Prototyping Software Lifecycle has been detailed and documented, outlining exactly what we should expect and when.
-Written contract explains expectations and entitlements specifically, so there is no question, and no one can screw you out of what you deserve.
-Checks and balances of power and control are in place with my team with an established "Board of Directors" consisting of 5 other team members (Lead Programmer would be one of them).
-Though said in probably every other job offer, this project really will offer some new experiences to a player.(Happy to explain to serious inquiries).
-And though I can offer no money without game sales (a similarity I DO share with every other offer), I promise to make it my job to get every member on my team the maximum amount of exposure to the world as possible by entering IGF.
I am a programmer, but I am just running out of time to learn this engine. I need someone to step up and help me out, so that my team can have the opportunity to create something amazing. Without the right talent, this project could fall to the wayside just like thousands before me. I cannot let that happen, not when so many people have joined on already. With this last addition, Cloud 9 Studios can begin working on the first build. I'm flexible with people's free time, yet expect people to want to work on this project. Email me for more information.
