Hi, I'm looking for folks in the area to meet, talk and possibly work with on T3D.

I'm new to T3D and game development and if there's someone suitable out there, there's a strong possibility that I'd be interested in hiring someone as a tutor.

Alternatively, I'd be interested in doing some photographic, 2D or 3D art work for a team or individual in exchange for help in learning Torque.

About me: I'm a professional graphic designer and photographer who left a successful career in print/publishing design about a year ago in order to dedicate myself to learning Maya and building the kinds of skills that will get me a job in the video game industry. I have other skills including writing and editing, and I have a keen understanding of the business world. There are a number of ways I could be of use to a small team and/or company.

I am in southern Palm Beach County, and willing to drive to other nearby counties.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Robert

I am in Homestead, but I do not think that I am qualified to tutor. If we could find a few more people, maybe we could start some kind of user's group or something.

Cool, Steve. Thanks for the reply — that's a good idea.

Why don't you shoot me an email at this address:
