TGB Basics Help: Screen Resolution

I currently have TGB 1.7.4. When I load it, my screen resolution decreases and I am unable to fully use all of the workspace commands because the resolution cuts them off. I would fix this myself, but I am unable to click certain commands because of the resolution. How can I make TGB load at a higher resolution, like 1024x768?
