Old Trial -> purchased version issue...

It seems this has still not been resolved, but I'm hoping I missed something..
I had a trial of TGB looong ago.. I have since purchased TGB.. In the accounts page there is no Activation Key listed.. I uninstall TGB Trial, install TGB and it asks me for a key.. which I don't have..
And I can't progress...
What can I do? I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue.

Remove any GarageGames or TorqueGameBuilder folders in your user directory. It seems to have worked for someone else on a Mac, at least. Not sure where the two locations of data are on Windows, or if they are more or fewer there.

In the meantime, I've been using the pro version that I bought a while back as well.. it doesn't ask for the serial..
However I would like to get the other one working too.. since I purchased them both..
I'll let you know how it goes..

Wait, both what? There is only one TGB, really. If you have the Pro edition of that, you even have the source. If you have the source, and your own compiled binaries give you trouble, you can trace it in more ways than TGB's log.

I don't see any reason why you should use the binary version of TGB at all. The source version is binary + more, and shouldn't cause any project issues.

You can use your TGB Pro on as many machines as you like. The EULA states that the product is tied to the user, not to a computer. @Ronny, I have not been able to successfully compile TGB Pro as of yet (stock code) but I don't have time to work on that at the moment. The binaries that I am using now, are the pre-compiled ones that come with TGB Pro..
I haven't had a chance to look into it more, but I will through out this upcoming week.
Thanks for the help thus far.

I understand that I can use it, however, this seems to be an issue for a lot of people, so I figured if we could get it figured out it would help everyone out...@Ronny, I have not been able to successfully compile TGB Pro as of yet (stock code) but I don't have time to work on that at the moment. @Deborah & other GG folks: So the binaries in non-source TGB aren't actually the same as included with TGB Pro? I'm an early adopter, so I guess I never saw those.

I heartily recommend looking up the build instructions for TGB on your platform of choice (if it's Windows, I need to look it up every time, if it's Mac, I can help :).@Deborah & other GG folks: So the binaries in non-source TGB aren't actually the same as included with TGB Pro? Nope, they're not the same. The only big difference is that the ignition stuff is built into the binary version.

@Ronny: I have tried following the various sets of instructions for VC++ Express 2k5 and 2k8, but I think things might be a bit different for me since I am on XP64bit.. I haven't had a moment to try again, but my first couple of attempts were failures..
