Grass Shader Help

Don't mean to be redundant, but I will try posting here, maybe with better luck. I need to get this taken care of.

I need a grass shader. I know about the groundCover, foilage replicator, but they don't have the quality I'm looking for. I need something exactly like this: url=http://www.cg.tuwien.ac.at/research/publications/2007/Habel_2007_IAG/]grass shader[/url].

I've also read and attempted this thread that is associated with that shader and came out with the grass textures laying on their sides and some dark stuff floating over the top(TGEA 1.7.1) and a flat white box in T3D. So it doesn't work. And nobody ever gave a positive that they got it working correctly. Some one please help me out here. I am just not that good at shaders to pull off a good grass shader, nor do I know if I'm getting it into the engine correctly. Doesn't someone have a grass shader that works in the engine?

I used to be obsessed with building my own open-ended RPG and a 3D Side Scroller RPG. But the job/house/girlfriend got in the way. I know, I know. Now I concentrate on doing architectural renderings (with the help of T3D of course) and VBA programming.
