Torque X 3D Binary Free (as in $0.00)

I remember the TorqueX 2 binary was free, and as far as I can tell there is nothing stopping the binary of TX3 working after trial expiration (except of course builder will stop working), but I notice it not longer says free, but rather Trial.
So is there a license change or is it still free?

Thanks for that clarification. It makes perfect sense to do it that way, and indeed, I had suspected it was something like that.
Currently I'm just trying to get my head around the way Torque X works, and I have to say it's not easy, well, with the provided documentation it's not, but I bit the bullet and bought John K's book, which is really helpful, so I don't see myself sticking with the binary only unless I hit financial difficulties or the Aussie dollar suddenly drops in value against the greenback... Torque X is currently getting cheaper every day ;)
