Diffrence in Torque X 3 Comunity Club edition and Edition purchased from site

I am curious as to what the difference between the Torque X Community club
edition and the edition I have purchased from the site (besides the CC version
is 2D and 3D).
Seems to me the license for the community club is different is this
true for am I just reading it wrong?

I've been using the trial to evaluate the engine and I'm ready now to make a purchase. I'm just confused as to whether I should pay for my CC account now (I'm in trial for that too) to gain access to the CC version or if I should use that money to buy the full version from here (but do I really need access to the source code at this point)?
In the end, I'm sure I will by both, but as I ease into it I am trying to spend wisely.

To further clarify (because I'm fuzzy on this one as well, it does not seem to be very clear from either site), what can you do with the source code for the engine versus just using pre-compiled CC version?
