Request: Project types

Due to the mess the "1 project - 2 completely distinct build targets" creates with the settings etc for iTGB projects, I want to request that project types are introduced.
That means that a user defines at project creation time if it will be a desktop or an iphone project and that the editor then works correspondingly.

Thats to me the only solution how the current track of "allow iTGB to build desktop games as well" can be followed any further.

The current setup definitely does not work out as even trivial things are messed up again and again and again, best example is the iphone orientation setup.
From not beeing stored correctly in the first version to now "set it in settings and enforce camera settings" to get landscape, it hasn't gotten any better, just more complicated and still broken.
The inconsistent usage of physics between play & deployment target is another issue thats caused by this "playing on two distinct parties at the same time" approach.


Personally I would prefer if iTGB would fully focus on the iphone only, as there is already a working and stable desktop tech (TGB). Especially I want iTGB to finally work correct on Mac first with Windows beeing what it is, a potential option once the main platform works correctly (people can still dev with TGB and port the games over as they do right now).
iPhone development is a Mac thing and I as well as many others have been waiting for months now to work on Mac usefully (-> develop projects from scratch not port TGB games), and there are still MAJOR bugs in the Mac version like the slider menus not working, play button only working once, image editor working on a russian roulette base and similar.
Basically its still near impossible to develop an iPhone game on the Mac.

Focus on iPhone with iTGB would allow you to remove things that don't work anyway and where no statements have been made if those things are intend to get fixed asap or at all.

I would also like to get a binding official statement by when this bugs are fixed at latest
Obviously there has been a large interest in pushing iTGE to the point where marble blast can show that iTGE isn't as broken as iTGB, so its now iTGBs turn again in getting finally done, soon 8 months past release.

I concur, make iTGB focus on the iPhone ONLY.
