Error running iTGB on the Mac for the first time

Hi all,

I put iTGB on a Mac today, for the first time. I get the following error when I try to run a game (originally built on a PC). Can anyone please advise?

Here's the error message I'm getting:

'initializeProject' function could not be found.
This could indicate a bad or corrupt common directory for your game.

The Game will now shutdown because it cannot properly function

Thank you,
Johnny

you never tested the game on the computer so there are no DSQ files present to be used

I had the same error until I moved it to a path that had no spaces in it.

@Raphael, thank you, that did the trick.

Yikes, my game runs slow on the Mac. I'm going to have to re-engineer it before it hits the iPhone probably!

Considering the error you had in the other thread, and things running slow, I'm wondering if it might be best to do a full OS reinstall. You should check the Apple menu, About This Mac and More info… to see if Quartz Extreme is even active under graphics. Even the previous generation minis should run the average TGB project just fine.

Just to confirm, you could upload a slow project somewhere and let others have a look at it. I'm using a unibody MacBook, which has the same specs as the new Mac mini (only added RAM), so if it's generally slow, I should feel it too :)
