Hi,
After looking around in the forums, resources and searching the internet for projects done and in progress with Torque, I noticed one thing:
All the games look the same !
It seems everybody is using the demo application and just adds some new gfx and maps.
Can anyone point me to projects that are different ? Just need to see what the engine can be used for otherwise.

Yeah, actually, the games that are being sold here on GG are different...but that was my big fear too that with Torque, I wouldn't be creating a new game, but rather a different combination of the same old stuff. These pioneers have definitely shown us something different though...

Of course, its still some way off from releasing real info about it.

I can fully guarantee that when I'm ready to show my "pet project" thats done using torque, it will NOT be like ANYTHING youve ever seen before with a torque made game.Of course, its still some way off from releasing real info about it.

It's still relatively early in Torque's life. I'm sure the further along the more differences will appear.
Unless you count anything that has a sky, some models, and terrain as being alike? :-P ;-)

Dog Of Prey isn't exactly cookie-cutter either. It's still relatively early in Torque's life. I'm sure the further along the more differences will appear.

I can now satisfy myself with the idea that the Torque engine can do all I need.
Thanks.

Some of these projects do indeed look great and are completely different.I can now satisfy myself with the idea that the Torque engine can do all I need.
Thanks.
