Am I missing something?

I've been using TGE for awhile now and I just recently got TX3D because I want to move into XNA.
I might be missing something, but am I supposed to know how the heck to use this thing??
I started to read through the documentation and about half way (and very confused) I realized that it wasn't even talking about anything related to the product I purchased. It was talking about the 2D version.
Why would this come with documentation on a completely different product?
EVERY tutorial has NOTHING to do with torque x 3d. Unless I'm totally missing something - which is entirely possible.
Are we ALL supposed to either wait for these online videos to come out or do we have to buy the $59 book simply to learn how to use the product?
