Torque3D Water & Rivers

first... am i in the right place... so many 3ds to choose from... is this the right place to ask about Torque3D?
if yes, then... i noticed in the River Construction Editor video that the water vertices actually move with the waves (thank you gods :) )... is this going to be available for TGEA anytime soon...
if not, then is it available on the indie license of Torque3D?
thanks in advance for any and all help...

TX 3D is a totally different product than Torque 3D with a different sub-forum, but no harm in answering your other questions anyway.Quote:Probably not, considering that the River tool, among others, is a specific feature of Torque 3D.

Quote:And yes, it's an included feature with the Torque 3D Professional license. I don't think there is a separation of Indie vs Commercial for Torque 3D... only Basic (which doesn't include a few features/tools or source code), Professional (the full package), and Studio grade licensing.
f not, then is it available on the indie license of Torque3D?

i've been away from torque for a few months concentrating on other immediate things... i've still gotta reorient myself with all the new stuff.

I think what is adding a lot to the confusion is that there is not a T 3D forum. The TGEA one is being used for T3D.

It's just a guess on my part but I would assume it will also have a Public forum much like any of the other products once it is released.

Torque 3D has a Private forum for those who have pre-ordered -- it's very active at the moment since a lot of people are testing with the Beta. It's just a guess on my part but I would assume it will also have a Public forum much like any of the other products once it is released.

I would say no. It looks as if you want the Torque3D forums.
This is the TX 3D forums.
