TX2D License?

I posted this in the TX2D forums but no answer so I'm posting it here too.
I'm sure this has been asked before but I wanted to make sure I understand this and a search on TX2D license comes up with a ton of stuff that has nothing to do with the license...
Without the license you are free to download the demo and work over games with scripts, after paying $150 you have access to the code and can sell games up to $250k and over $250k you need to buy a pro license.
The executable can be distributed among members that have not purchased the game so they can work on scripts but they cannot see the source code.
Correct?

My understanding from this is that the demo is for evaluation purposes. Once you start active development, any team members using the binaries, tools or source code must have a license.

That is my understanding as well, I'm primarily looking to clarify that if one member handles updates to the engine or use of tools and the rest only make script updates or graphics updates without Torque tools that only one member has to purchase a license?

It would be my understanding that scripting would fall under developmental usage of the engine, and thus require a license, unless they're just writing the scripts entirely independently, and then sending them to a licensee to integrate and test. Other Torque engines such as TGE or TGEA don't have that wording in the license, they only state that you need a license to access the source code. They've been moving in the direction of needing a license for scripting or tool use with their newer engines, and I know it's required for Torque3D, so I would assume this wording means the same unless told otherwise by a GG rep.
Individuals creating graphical or other content would not need a license if they're not using the Torque tools or included media in any way.
But since I'm not a lawyer or a GarageGames employee, it would be a good idea to get an answer from one or the other for something like this. Using the contact form will probably get you an answer from them quicker than through the forums.

You may want to shoot an email to them via the Contact Us page for a valid clarification. It would be my understanding that scripting would fall under developmental usage of the engine, and thus require a license, unless they're just writing the scripts entirely independently, and then sending them to a licensee to integrate and test.
