realm wars single player

Personaly i dont care for the "team" stuff implmented in the new build of realm wars. But am glad to see rw default to deathmatch when it cant confirm "Teams".

And whats up with ogg-vorbis stuff? Its only half added to the sdk (please finish adding it).

While im on the matter of the sdk whats going on with the aiplayer.cc and .h why cant they be finalized into the sdk also?

With that being said...

I been familarizing my self woth torque since september 2001 and even built a "Bang your Dead (instagib type play)"
Pwrweapons mod using torque code and rw script.

Rw is progressing along quite nicly in the art department (where torque is not).

So needless to say , i am tossing around the idea of turning my single player efforts to building with the Realm wars version of torque.

The main question i have:

Will they be adding the ai stuff to the sdk soon? (cant have single player without somthing to shoot at).

I guess while im waiting for the ai stuuff i will consentrate on converting my pwrweapons completly over to RW.

I don't think there's even going to be any AI, aside from beasts (vehicles), which is a long way off. All the enemies will be other players and potentially tamed animals, along with NPCs that sell you stuff.

It's not like I'd object to a single player mode though. The plot may actually have a point if RW had a campaign of some sort.

I read somewhere in the forums that someone was working on an AI system for Torque. Can't remember what thread though and I'm too lazy at the moment to do a search for it :-p

Phil Carlisle had plans for one. He may have a bit on his plate at the moment, though. :)
