I've several years of experience from TGEA and I've also worked on two AAA titles.

Do you ask for advanced payment or will you accept part of potential profits?

It also depends on how serious the project is and it's current state.

I do prefer paid work, although it depends on the project. Smaller projects for example the iphone etc can be interesting with potential profits. It also depends on how serious the project is and it's current state.
