how do I merge physX into the "full" template??

by deepscratch · in Torque 3D Professional · 05/03/2009 (12:09 pm) · 24 replies

title says it all, getting tons of linker errors when I try,
also what is the purpose of the torque.dll in the physx demo? I removed it, and the demo ran the same without it.

wow, I gave up on using physx by beta 3....
getting better performance and versitility from bullet physics,
so I'm not up to date on the physx stuff,
but there where 3 other threads about the same issue,
do a search....

Just managed to compile PhysX in "full" template (1.1a), but it crashes when i load a mission. If anyone bother to analyze this error I'm getting, it might help me.

The error i get in VC++ at crash:

First-chance exception at 0x1008f5e4 in Torque3D.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000000.
Unhandled exception at 0x1008f5e4 in Torque3D.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000000.

Unhandled exception at 0x1008f5e4 in Torque3D.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000000.
The program '[1436] Torque3D.exe: Native' has exited with code 0 (0x0).

(note: don't tell me to just use the PhysX build, because I've already used so much time integrating my project in T3D)
