Is there any details about the lightmapper shown in the beta blog?
Cost?
Is it a indie license of an existing system?
Ambient Occulusion Baking?
Thanks

Also keep in mind that while the Purelight tech is actually prooven the integration into Torque3D is a relatively new thing, which is part of the reason why you haven't seen much information posted on it yet. I only know about it because they are local and I put them in touch with GG... the rest alas is all NDA.

Purelight is an incredibly acurate radiosity calculation tool similar to Beast for the Unreal game engine. Based on what I have seen of Purelight (and from comments other industry guys have made) this system is a more robust than Beast with regards to its accuracy and has very user friendly UI to generate the lightmapping results without needing to sit there and babysit the whole process. The lighting that Purelight creates is pretty much 100% accurate radiosity complete with color bleeding, accurate shadow casting and the whole 9-yards one would expect. The catch though though is that it creates static lightmaps for your levels which you would then supplement with dynamic light casting items (which is how almost every Unreal based game such as Gears of War and Mass Effect work). Also keep in mind that while the Purelight tech is actually prooven the integration into Torque3D is a relatively new thing, which is part of the reason why you haven't seen much information posted on it yet. Can anyone speculate on how much it will cost to use purelight? Its not free from the looks of it and based of how well it does what it does is it going to cost an arm and a leg?

I really don't know any other details than that.
