personally i'm very excited about o3d,
because it fills a niche i've been looking for for years:
a performant, simple-to-work-wioth, cross-platform, free, and web-enabled system in which to write simple graphical toys. i talk about some very early experiments with o3d here.

O3D is a rendering engine, not a game engine.personally i'm very excited about o3d,

Yeah for sure it is not a replacement for game engine... I just thought anyway that the community could be interested about it...

yeah it's pretty cool. i've noticed that the papervision developer blog has been pretty quiet ever since O3D was released..
