Mac Cheats?

#1 I am on a Mac too! They rock!

I got stuck on this level too - one little way to help yourself is to goto the main menu and wait about 5 seconds. This will play a loop of about 3 computer run demos. One of which shows the best route to take when doing this level.

#3 That demo at the intro (as played by Mark Frohnmayer) doesn't show the *easiest* route through the level, but it does show the fastest. At any rate, it lets you see where all the gems are.

#4 To "qualify" for locked levels, go to that level in the select dialog and click the very bottom-right hand corner of the background image. That should unlock the level (I'm not sure if it works on the Mac version, but it does on Windows).

#7 Blaire, please read the post you just added on to. There are no real cheats in MBG. If you're in a level that says "not qualified", click in the bottom right corner of the window to unlock it. If you need help on Three Fold maze, ask around.

#9 I'm not going to give you any "spoilers", so I will just suggest roaming around until you find all 3 gems. It will eventually work!

#13 I copied the Marble Blast Gold folder from the default location /Applications/Marble Blast Gold/ onto my user /Users/Joe/Games/Marble Blast Gold/ and the levels were suddenly unlocked. I have no idea why this happened, try it tell me if the same thing happens to you.
I also worked out how to make minor modifications to existing levels and how to "hack" the in-game high scores. If any Mac users would liek to now how email me or add to a messenger of your choice:

#14 Sorry to make you unhappy but...:
1) Prefs.cs got your levels unlocked because you added a custom level or you changed some of your preferences. Read the Level Building forum to see how to lock it (MBG FAQ topic and search for my last walkthrough about level qualifications).
2) We know how to make modifications to levels by using the level editor or the .mis code. Again, look at level building forums to see how we made our own levels.
3) "Hack". Hah. That's a simple prefs.cs file change where you just change your times. Of course, to get into the WR topic you need to have, if requested: Path, Screenshot of level end with the scoreboard and all that (not main menu) and video.

#16 The simplest cheat on a mac(or windows) is to open a level press F10 and then enter

defaultmarble.gravity=5;

then press enter and you will be in low gravity mode

if you are good with computers you can change the =5 to =1 or =0 or anything else.

Oh and Nicolas why would he want to open teh in game editor?
