BUNCH-A-CHICKENS!!!

Outside of golf or pool, where are all of the sport games? And don't give the excuse of "the controls on a computer for sporting games would be to difficult to implement" cause today's gamers have USB controller pads. Don't look now but...I think AI is hiding under your bed! Is there anyone up to the challenge of using Torque to create a football, basketball, baseball, rugby, something-other-than-the-norm game? ...And yes, I'm currently working on one now.

p.s.
Not being a C++ expert is no excuse either. If you can learn TorqueScript, you can learn C++.

I think it has something to do more with the quantity of animations required to make sports games... but I could be wrong.

Personally, sports involving balls never interested me and I tend to not make games unless they'd be fun for me to play.

But, you are making a sports game... awesome :P

What kind of game?

I Think it has to do with the indy game scene. The type of person who has the desire to make an indy game is usually not very sports minded. ; )

Call it my lack of desire to play sports games... never mind the extreme boredom just seeing one of the above mentioned games live or on television gives me. I think it's great that you want to make one, but truth be told I'll never play it. Unless there are landmines on the playing field and you're throwing babies & puppies instead of tossing balls... then I might ;)

It's also rather brave of you to want to compete or just play in a market dominated by EA. What is it that will make your game atypical?

Wanna bet?

I believe that I am right in saying that someone has made a 20/20 Cricket game using TGE.

As awkward ball physics and bizarre rule structures go - that'll be cicket for the win then!

... bowled him a googley, and he put through to silly mid-off ...
