Mech model

Hello guys, this is a mech we have created for our game and I was wondering if i could get some feedback on it and a little help. The picture is just a render but when I goto export it the color is gone and it turns grey. Also would anyone be able to help me animate it? Yes I would be willing to pay you for your time too.

Out of interest how many poly's is it?

I don't know if you can export and base material information to torque, so it might require texturing - as it won't pickup the diffuse colours etc.

If you're using Max5 you can do a render to texture so you at least have a test, but that feature doesn't actually affect the UVW co-ordinates of the model, so you have to save the UVW Map it creates, make a new material set the map and reload the mapping into a standard Unwrap.

Search the resources for tutorials on setting up biped for animation. I've never managed it for a complex model so I can't help you there.

The model is just under 3k poly. 2964 to be exact. I use Max4 so and havne't seen anything like that yet. I've looked for character animation, animation, and modeling in the resourses and keep getting stuff that dosn't work. Thank you for the explanation as to why though the color isn't there.
