Drag & Drop images not working on the Mac

Drag & Drop (ganking) not working on the Mac. I tried behavior playground and shooter tutorial images. I also tried my own jpgs with no luck...

I don't know how to add images to my project? i tried copying images to /data/images like .jpg and .png but after reloading/restarting TGB i cannot see any :(how to do this without the drag/drop?

There's a button you press to import images (and a menu item). Along the top right of the editor there are image/imagemap/animation buttons. After importing a spritesheet, you can double-click it to set up cell count/cell sizes.

I noticed those buttons but it is not possible or not wishfull to add separate images?
Is it better to add multiple images that are packed together into one jpg?
My understanding now is that i must add imagemaps in order to import images.. correct?

When you're adding an image, it is added as a 1-cell image. Use as normal. If it contains sprite frames, edit the cell count.
