Question about uploads for resources

Resources no longer support uploads of code or other items. I would like to be able to provide copies of updated code to interested parties but am concerned about exposing copyrighted material on public "ftp" sites. Many of these sites require a password by anyone can get access. What is the recommended way of providing code that does not violate copyright requirements?
