My first book was published by Bloomsbury - The Monster Hunter's Handbook: The Ultimate Guide to Saving Mankind From Vampires, Zombies, Hellhounds, and Other Mythical Beasts. Seriously, that's the real title.
I've worked on various independent game projects over the years. Recent and ongoing projects I have contributed to include the following:
Morning's Wrath 2, Ethereal Darkness Interactive
Aragon Online, Hexwar Games
Gates of Eternity, Earthwave Studios
Deus Vult, NewVisionGames
Goon World: Organized Crime Online, Nemesis Studios

Work Sought:
I am interested in any kind of creative writing work, whether that means inventing worlds, races, cultures, and organisations out of whole cloth, helping to shape pre-existing material, or coming up with dialogue and quest text.
If a project has its writing covered, but is in need of a proofreader capable of spotting mistakes and improving the flow of its literature, then that's also something I can handle.
Historical and literary research is an area I'm very comfortable with, and can offer either in conjunction with my writing or for its own sake. Although I can only claim serious expertise in classics and ancient history, I do have some experience delving into other areas. The title of my PhD thesis was The History of Grappling in the Western World, and hence involved the study of a wide range of sources - from ancient Egyptian tomb paintings and Greek epic poems to medieval combat manuals and Victorian sports books.
Expected Compensation:
At the present time I'm looking for paying projects, or those with very realistic commercial aspirations.
I prefer to discuss the actual details on a case by case basis, since it varies a great deal depending on the nature of the work involved.
