TGE/TGEA, C++ developer looking for volunteer or paid position.

I am looking for a volunteer or paid position as a programmer in either Torque Script or light engine work. I know C++ fairly well. I just graduated from Westwood College and have obtained my Bachelors of Science in Game Software Development. I own a TGE and TGEA license, as well as a TGB and TorqueX License. I am really looking to work on game styles that fall within the functionality of Mass Effect or GTA IV (but not the adult rated crap, strictly the functionality). Any work will do, but I am looking to be recruited to a serious and knowledgeable team who understands how to work as a team.

Greetings!

I am the producer and lead designer of an indie title: "Legacy of Numidar". I would be interested in your service, preferably as a volunteer but the am open to discussions about payment as well depending on the amount you will contribute to the project.

You can read about the game and it's development at: legacyofnumidar.com

If you are interested in the development or would like to know more, just send a mail to the e-mail address specified at the website and we can discuss the rest in person. (I would have contacted you in e-mail if a contact address was provided in your profile.)

Sincerely,
Laszlo A.

I didn't realize that I had my email turned off in my profile. It's on now.

Actually, I have to retract my original post. My current project is finally picking up as people are becoming more available, so I am not sure I will have time for another project. I thank anyone who considered me as a helping hand though. Thanks all!

Hi, i need to put bump maps in TGE 1.52, that works like another material, using OpenGl generic extension ARB_texture_env_dot3.

I can code and load the extension, but i am stuck in the cubemap - lighting; load, unload - zombie the textures...

See this link:

¿ how much is the cost ?

thanks!.

Thanks, but my team got going again and decided that Torque Game Engine Advanced just won't meet our needs. It doesn't have the flexibility we need, and it is lacking support for common features that are critical to our project, like volumetric fog (the fog layers are horrid looking). Also, after some testing of a small multiplayer space level, we found that TGEA performs very poorly on everyone of our test PCs (5 different configurations, each well beyond the torque minimum requirements). So, we have moved on to NeoAxis. So far, that engine meets our needs in every way. We will see though.
