Constructor 1.0.5.1 not working with main.cs.

I'm using windows XP, I downloaded Constructor 1.0.51 It says "failed to open main.cs" so then I uninstalled 1.0.3 Then tried 1.0.5.1 and it said the same thing. So then I installed 1.0.3 again then tried 1.0.5.1 and it still said it couldn't open the main.cs.

Would this be the default directory from 1.0.3. C:\Program Files\Torque\Constructor\

Is main.cs in the same directory as the executable? Is there a main.cs?

Is the main.cs the DSO file? If it is I already tried setting it with constructor.

No, the main.cs that the Constructor.exe needs is in the same installation directory as the executable. That particular script file is never compiled into a .dso. If you're trying to use the main.cs or (main.cs.dso) in the Constructor subdirectory then that won't work.

-edit- This new version of Constructor did not fix the collision bug.

Thank you for your help hopefully 1.0.5.1 will fix my collision problems. But is it normal for light colored objects to be very bright because I didn't have this problem in 1.0.3.-edit- This new version of Constructor did not fix the collision bug.

The collision bug should not be there after 1.0.3.

@Tony - send me the .CSX of the file you are having trouble with, and I will look at it.

Here is my map file, I know the red lines are not causing the problem. Also the map is suppose to be big because it's for a Lego based game. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?zmjdydyyae1

Well, you do have some bad geometry in the sofa cushions and the magazine on the table. If you check the console in Constructor when you create the DIF, you'll see some winding errors. I converted some of the problem geometry where I saw issues (the pizza box and couch) to detail brushes and it solved the collision problems there. There are a lot of intersecting brushes that are being split up even more since they are structural brushes.

Yeah, I just noticed the same thing(s) as David. Clean up the intersecting brushes and make judicious use of detail brushes for the "little things" and you'll get much better results.

I never thought that would cause the problem, thank you. Is there any chance I could get the save of the fixed version? Also the video tapes, moldy cheese, the box and the newspaper have some collision problems if you didn't check those.

I have no idea which items specifically that you are talking about since next to none of the textures are included. I deleted the bad geometry (load in constructor, find red lines, select, delete). I didn't save it.

Oh sorry about that this save comes with textures. I understand about bad geometry but the collision problem even effects objects that are virtually fine.http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?mmokzyr2dzq
