TGEA 1.7.1 -- DTS to DTS shadows seems unstable

Can someone let me know if there is a fix for DTS self-shadowing in TGEA 1.7.1? I have enabled shadowSelfShadow and shadowDTSShadow from script and it seems to work but it eventually crashes in GFXDevice::drawPrimitive( U32 primitiveIndex ).
