Looking for Development Characters

I'm a coder with zero art background beyond creating car skins for Nascar 2003. I'm hoping someone can provide a free male and female character I can use during development rather than just use the base TGE ogre for everything. Providing a character for development that I have to buy should I ever sell a game would be fine too.

Specifically I'm working on a medieval based game but anything with a male and female character I can work around would be terrific... If not I'll keep using the ogre.

Thanks for the link but I'm trying to avoid spending another $100ish (only male characters in that pack, need to buy another one for female) until I get going further in the project...

To be honest it might be worth buying the male pack and using till you get an art pipeline setup and then can buy a female mesh rig and animate yourself. If not then expect to pay a little more than $100 for a good main character that is animated.

Just to clarify.I do not have that pack, but use others for that very purpose. At $40, it is very much worth it.

Yeah, I'll probably pick up the male pack and later I'll buy a female one or if I learn to model I should be able to use the male one as a baseline. Thanks for the advice.

Advanced Female Character Kit

Here is a female Character for development....comes with many meshes, a 'standardized' rig that accepts most BVH files...and other 'cool' stuf!

There is a male Character as well....


Purchase a Pack with an 'openEnded' path for animation.....not something tethered to Max's Biped!
