xbox 360 controllers for PC

I just got an xbox 360 controller for my computer and i was wondering what kind of key binds i would have to use because the majority of the buttons dont work which i assume is a key bind problem because some of them do like the A button is the space button on a keyboard i guess

Now I have the Joysticks kinda working but everything is inverted except strafing left and right. The entire right joystick is inverted and the y axis on the left joystick is inverted
