Coders and Modelers needed.

by Fusegen Entertainment · in Jobs · 03/14/2009 (4:06 pm) · 5 replies

I am starting a MMORPG game. I have a great marketing plan, I can draw allot of heat on the game. I will purchase the Indie license, and if we need, we'll get the commercial license later on. I will also handle the dedicated server costs, webhosting costs, make the website, bring traffic on it, use some "Gorilla tactics" to earn revenue from online sites as well as in-game.

Following positions are open

Coders (Two)

- Must have plenty of C++ experience (Resume, examples would be a boost!).
- Should know torque script.
- Must own the softwares needed to get your part done (C++).

Modelers (Two)

- Must have plenty of 3d modeling experience (Resume, examples would be a boost!).
- Should know how to texture stuff.
- Must own the softwares needed to get your part done (3ds Max/Maya, Zbrush etc).

Each person will get a certain percent of total money made from the game each month. And since the game will have DLCs, your job will be permanent.

Keep in mind that, we all must have mutual agreement on a contract before we start. Also, you must be in same, or a closer timezone as me (maximum time difference should be 3 hours).

Thanks Ted. Have you started on your own "Indie MMO"?

Yep, and we're slowly pushing into Step 6 (we've brought a few people on for concept art, but it's still slow going, so we're not filling up a whole team yet). It's very hard, which is why I wrote that thread- it's a compilation of experience from myself and others, as well as a compilation of resources that otherwise take some time to find in the forums.

If you want to see what I'm up to, check my website, which links to the game site and development blog. If you're in town for GDC, I'll be at the GG booth demoing the NPC conversation system for those willing to gaze upon programmer art ;)

Danm I want to goto GDC. I will be in touch with the dev blog thanks. Do you have MSN, or AIM? I need some experience in this field before I start my own game. Is there anyway I can gain some experience with you and have some fun while I am at it?
