tgea demo crashes

hi,
i did post this in general disscustion but now i thought it is more appropriet to post here.
i have downloaded both demo's "the barricade demo and the Forge demo" and on the forge demo when i add a water block the demo crashes as for the barricade demo when i start it up it gets 1 quarter through loading objects and it freezes.
my specs are
intel core 2 due t7500
2GB
200GB HDD
Nvidia Geforce 8600M GS
all my drivers are updated
it may be my laptop because i also downloaded leadwerks evalution and a similar thing happend
i hope someone can help because i really want to buy TGEa

on the freezing for the barricade demo is that when you make a new mission. the barricade demo don't have the new mission files so thats why it freeze up as its got nothing to load for a new mission. :P

Forge demo i know new mission works there as theres files for a mission there. :P i looking up info wile i type here to try to give a answer. the water block problem did you give the water block a name as some say it crashes when doing that with demo.

if thats not the problem go here it might solve your problem.

Ok so the barricade demo won't be able to make a map would it be possible to copy over the mission files from forge to barricade. On the forge demo when I add a water block it doesn't matter wether I name it or not it still crashes. I looked at the links and I don't think they help but thanks anyway. I will try copying files over from forge to barricade. Thanks

you should look in the folder of your demo and see if there are any errors theres a text document made with the command log and it will show you any errors. the text document is called console.txt and it would help to find the problem. the text document should be where you placed your demo.

now if you got it working in the barricade demo then thats good.
