Error in lighting with sgLightObjects 1.7.1+

It looks like lightmaps aren't working right for me with sglightobjects. My sun will cast shadows correctly, but placing an sgLightObject (with type set to Static either on or off) will not cast shadows on relight. This worked in TGEA 1.03, and TGE 1.52, but does not appear to work in 1.7.1, or 1.8.0.
Unless of course, i've just done something wrong, I won't discount that. Has anyone else seen this? Are your lightmaps in game working like you expect? If you put a column in your DIF, do you see the shadow cast by an sgLightObject? I sure as heck don't. Lighting will effect everything, it's just not blocked...

Ah I see, it's just me. I turned off shadows because I didn't want dynamic shadows cast earlier. This also affects static lightmaps.
