Compare source versions

Is there a way to compare two versions of the same source to spot code changes.
For instance, a version of tgea 1.71 and a modified version of tgea 1.71 .
I am trying to log all the changes 1 of our coders made to our source, but he is temporarily MIA for the moment.

You should also look into versioning control: CVS/SVN - with TortoiseSVN being easiest to setup and use.

A lot of things: WinMerge, WinDiff, Compare It!, Beyond Compare, and there are many others. WinMerge works well and is free. You should also look into versioning control: CVS/SVN - with TortoiseSVN being easiest to setup and use.

I've tried about a zillion windows diff utilities including some fairly expensive ones and i keep coming back to WinMerge. it's solid.
