Houdini Torque Node

Hi All,
Not sure where to put this so here it goes.
I recently purchased an apprentice version to render things in torque. After going through the video that explains how to set up an export I noticed that the Torque node was not present in my list of Nodes. Did I do something wrong during install? is there something I'm missing?
Thank you so much for helping the noob!

However The torque nod does not exist.
1. when i use File->Export->TorqueGameEngine i get a message saying nothing is selected.
2. from the tab menu the torque nod does not exist.
Any other ideas ?

I had the same problem... try to open houdini escape from your start menu vs. the "houdini" start file. It has the torque nodes and the watermark free rendering

What license should i have loaded ?
or does any one else have another idea?

1. enter the /obj level of the network
2. add a ropnet node and double click this node so that you are inside
3. add a torque node by hitting TAB and then select Scene->Torque from the menu
Still doesn't work? Did you try to start Houdini (Master) instead of Houdini Escape? Maybe there are different licenses for Houdini Master and Houdini Escape.

I am still having issues with this.
as an update.
I can see the a node named "torque" in Houdini master only (not Escape). However this only shows up at the beginning of the application. when I place the node it asks me to select a particle. Obviously I have nothing to select. When I place an object the Node no longer appears. I have tried doing the ropnet solution listed above and the node does not appear. Is there any thing else I can do? Obviously this has to be my noob user error.
Thanks everyone

After looking at the only video I could find on exporting files to Torque in the bottom right hand corner there is a "HD non-commercial license" mine only has "non-commercial". The link I got off of my account after paying for the HD version let me download just an Apprentice version (the free version) so now I am stuck with a free non-commercial version. Does any one know how to correctly download and license the HD version after it has been downloaded?
Thanks

Shortly after my order confirmation of GarageGames I received an EMail from sidefx.com where they sent me a password and a login to install the new licenses by the Houdini License Administrator. Didn't you receive this mail?

I think you don't need to reinstall the Apprentice version but only change the license.Shortly after my order confirmation of GarageGames I received an EMail from sidefx.com where they sent me a password and a login to install the new licenses by the Houdini License Administrator. Didn't you receive this mail?

Since Houdini Apprentice HD is surley listed under "My Products" under "My Account" I would suggest to contact the support of GarageGames.

An email is sent right after purchase. which states your account information through sidefx.com.
Watch your junk email !!
my account info got sent to my junk email. If i was expecting this email I would have found it sooner.
Thanks everyone for listening to my frustrated rants and raves.
As a suggestion GG if you are looking at this. You might want to place a disclaimer on the Product after a purchase is made to watch for an email.
If its there... Well don;t I just Suck
Thanks again everyone

There are two ways to add a Torque ROP (Render OPerator) node to the scene:
1. When you choose File->Export->TorqueGameEngine, Houdini searches the entire scene for a Torque ROP node and displays the dialog of the first one it finds. If it can't find a Torque ROP node, it creates one in /out and displays the dialog of the new ROP node.
2. You can add your own Torque node from the TAB menu (either in /out, or within another ROP manager node).
