Now really, how am I to help you when all I know about your problem is you're using max. seriously.

p.s. no need for sarcasm, your initial post is horrid and lacks everything that a forum post needs to be "informational".
Almost equal to: I bought a thing and I would like to make this other thing do that thing with the first thing and can you make it also you in cup I found pumpkinutz lwerg.

1. what programs you are working with, include their versions
2. what you're trying to do and the steps you chose
3. what you have attempted to do to fix/remedy the issue(s)
4. what you think may be the problem
5. More information (never enough imo)

1. max 2009
2. created a free camera, then a spline path line. attached the camera to patch then preview
3. tried 2 diffrent computers also merging into a new file, and rendering insted of preview
4. not sure worked on my friends pc
5. more info... hmm max makes me wat to kill myself?

Woohoo! Anthony is now a level2 forumer!

There are a few ways of "attaching" in max and since we don't need to be specific any further, give this a try:

I second what eb says. I have never heard of a legitamite install of Max doing this. You might also want to try installing SP1 for 2009 as well as removing any 3rd party plugin and try again (just to eliminate the fact that perhaps one of them is causing the problem).
