What ever happened to the Oasis demo?

So I was reading through some old blogs, and I ran into this: www.garagegames.com/community/blogs/view/14469

So whatever happened to the Oasis demo, it was looking nice. Did it get scrapped? Does anyone know more?

I'm just sorta curious since it seemed to just vanish, will it reappear in higher poly glory on T3D?

    Sadly that demo never quite came together and we decided it would cost more resources to get it to the point we were happy with than it was worth.

    Thats sad to here, it looked really nice. Would you guys ever consider releasing it as a content pack (like just the environment) or just a new environment for the FPS Starter Kit in TGEA?
