Torque and GG logos (indie license)

I was searching for the licensing forum but the new website design I cant find it nowhere.
M question is about the GG and Torque logo (okok I know the GG logo is not required but I still want to show it). I hope there is no inconvenience.
In this case, the fade screens with the logos just wont make it. I want to drop the fade screens and instead do something like this in the login screen.
http://www.spritekin.com/warscale/logindemo.jpg
So, everybody will see the logos on the Login screen but I wont have the fade screens before or after that. Would that be ok?
This is just a fake setup... the Logo is still in process (but is the same basically) and I still need to contact the artist of that background... but you get the idea.
Luck!

Splash screen placement is an important part of game engine branding. It is a mark of quality for the technology behind a game and lets players know that a game belongs to a wider family of games. Unreal, Gamebryo, Source, Scaleform, Havok and most other engine providers all require start up splash screen placement even though their licenses are MUCH more expensive than ours. GarageGames has spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars developing our logos and splash screen and we are very proud of the work. We do not feel that a splash screen detracts from a game's presentation as most players have come to expect them.
In some cases, for commercial licensees, we allow modified splash screens, however, each of these cases are entirely subject to our approval. We may also simply say "No" and give no reason. Generally speaking we will always say "no" to "Indie" licensee seeking to modify our splash screen. The splash screen is simply a condition for using our technollogy.
We do offer splash screen waivers, if you wish to remove our splash screen from a project. However, splash screen waivers are many times more expensive than the engine (several thousand per-title). Serious inquires can contact licensing@garagegames.com for details. But, please be prepared for some sticker shock as it is not an "Indie friendly" price.
I appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Is this a new policy? I was given permission some time ago so it doesn't apply to me, but I was just wondering. If so, I think this is a bad move (not the part about requiring a splash screen.. but being forced to use something that totally clashes with your project).

I understand... no problem. I will keep the startup screens. I dont want to avoid showing the GG/Torque logo at all, I was just trying to make it more friendly to my design so I was giving some alternatives.
Thanks!

Just throwing out a thought here, but since there are alot of talented programmers in this community, would it be possible/plausible/even desired to have a contest or a place where people could create and send it alternate splash screens for your approval/choosing/hosting that still do show/do the same thing, but maybe with different theme/spice so to speak? Just seems like an opportunity to get something back from the talented and helpful community you created, that would benefit alot of people.
