TGB Refuses to start

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but...
Every time I try to open my TGB demo it refuses to start. It was working fine up until just today when I tried to start it for the first time. It shuts down right after the window pops up, with windows proclaiming that something has stopped the program from running properly, and it must now shut down. No error code, nothing.
I've tried running as admin, in compatibility for Windows XP, opening projects, just running the engine, everything.
it refuses to stay open.
I am running Windows Vista Ultimate x64, and if it turns out the only solution is to reformat my computer, I am just going to find another engine.
I was planning on purchasing an independent license, but if the engine refuses to work on my computer, my hands are tied. I'd appreciate any help possible.
edit: here is the console.log, if that helps any.

It's an RSS feed issue that we are working on addressing. For now, disconnect your computer completely from the internet, open up TGB, and go to :Help--->About--->Insider
and uncheck "Yes, please check for RSS news"

Quick update: We changed our RSS feeds, so you should not see this issue anymore even if you used Matt's fix. Please let us know if you are still seeing it!
