F10 and F11 keys

by Gary Roberson · in Torque Game Engine · 01/30/2009 (4:06 pm) · 2 replies

At last! Finally after oening Torque for two years, i finally found enough time to sit down and read the Getting Started newsletter to get the engine started. With the chaos surrounding my livelihood dying down, I may have time to even develop a game, one I might even like to sell.

Ok my question.

The F10 and F11 keys are used to toggle the GUI and World editors. This is good while I'm developing the game, but when I'm ready to distribute (sell) the game, how to I disable (make them not work) these keys so that the customer will not use them to toggle the game to the editors.

Simply remove the keybinds and the creator directory.

Just in case, those key binds are in default.bind.cs. After editing that file, you'll need to delete the .dso, and config.cs/.dso.
