Book: Cross Hair doesn't work, XNAChopper Shoot but can't move?

So i can't get the crosshair to work, and I took a look at the updated code from the book, and I noticed chapter 8 (which had the crosshair for the Air Chopper Strike game, and the camera following the player) is completely different, it has a car demo instead of the chopper's crosshair.

I went and grabbed the other chapters and saw that the later versions of the game don't have it either.

Any advice, I'm so very lost, I was attempting to get one stick to move the char, and the other to move a crosshair, and when you fire it shoots in the direction of the crosshair (emitting from the player).

I can get movement on one 360 stick, but then the other one locks, so i can't have both moving at the same time.

Note: I also noticed that while the book describes how to implement health and projectiles (for the player). The Chopper isn't actually able to move and shoot (compiled and played Chapter 16s final version), whats going on?
