Also this months issue of 3D World magazine includes a CD with a free copy of TrueSpace 3. A little outdated, but there are some good books out there on this product.

Better to use and Support Blender as an editor for game development. It's free and open source. Truespace is excellent, but lacks the freedom that Blender will offer indie devs.
