Watched Thread bugged when locked...

by Ted Southard · in Site Feedback · 01/21/2009 (6:10 pm) · 3 replies

Something that I noticed today when cleaning up my watched threads was that one thread had been locked by an admin, and no longer shows the "notify me" checkbox.

The problem here is that I had already checked it, and no not having access to the box, I cannot uncheck it and remove it from my watched threads list.

I think if the checkbox remained on locked threads, there shouldn't be any real loss here, since the locking would prevent notifications from being kicked off in the first place, and would allow us to take the threads off our watch lists.

Thanks in advance.

I need to post another error here. When I clicked the post button, I got an "Application Error" page pop up, and a blank New Thread form when hitting the back button (which was expected). When I clicked on the Site Feedback shortcut listed at the top of the page, I found that this thread had been created just fine.

However, the notification checkbox was not checked, as it had been when first creating the thread.

Yeah, I ran into this earlier today when making a thread in the Torsion forum. It seems that the new site likes to fake you out and make you think your thread wasn't created when it actually was.
